Natchez Convention Center Roof Replacement Zones 1 & 2 (Bid Package No 6)

Background
The City of Natchez is issuing a solicitation for the Natchez Convention Center Roof Replacement, specifically for Bid Package No. 6, which includes Zones 1 and 2. This project is funded by a 2022 Convention Center Complex General Obligation Bond Issue, and no state or federal funds will be utilized. The goal of the contract is to renovate the roof of the convention center to ensure its structural integrity and functionality.

Work Details
The work involves the removal and replacement of the existing roofing system with a new single-ply roofing system. This includes installation of flashing at wall surfaces, duct penetrations, and other miscellaneous penetrations.

Bids for Zones 1 and 2 will be submitted as Base Bid, while Zone 3 will be submitted as Alternate No. 1.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and will follow the timeline established in the bid documents. Bids are due by September 18, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Natchez Convention Center located at 124 South Pearl Street, Natchez, MS 39120.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a Bid Bond Security/Guarantee of 5% of the total bid for contracts exceeding $25,000. A 100% Performance and Payment Bond is also required.

Bidders must possess necessary licenses and certificates as specified in the contract documents. Non-resident bidders are required to attach a copy of their resident state's current law regarding non-resident contractors with their bid; failure to do so will result in rejection.
