Lease Purchase Contract for 2026 Rear-Loading Garbage Trucks and Chassis

Background
The Marion County, Mississippi, Board of Supervisors is seeking un-priced bid proposals for a lease purchase contract. The goal of this contract is to acquire one or more 2026 20-cubic yard rear-loading garbage trucks and Class 8,000 GVW Chassis to enhance waste management services in the county.

Work Details
The contract involves a five (5) year term lease purchase for one (1) or more 2026 models of rear-loading garbage trucks with a capacity of 20 cubic yards and Class 8,000 GVW Chassis. The equipment must meet minimum specifications as outlined by the Chancery Clerk of Marion County, Mississippi. Detailed specifications are available through Central Bidding.

Period of Performance
The unpriced bid proposals will be accepted until 10:00 A.M. on August 4, 2025. An electronic reverse auction for bidding will take place on August 6, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.

Place of Performance
The bids must be submitted to the office of the Marion County Board of Supervisors located at 215 Broad Street, Columbia, Mississippi 39429. Electronic submissions can also be made via www.centralbidding.com.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with the requirements set forth by the Marion County Board of Supervisors. They are advised that they may need to arrive thirty minutes prior to bidding if using surrogate bidding. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
