Ford E-350 Van Cab Purchase and Type III Box Remount Services

Background
The Board of Supervisors of Tallahatchie County, Mississippi, is seeking sealed competitive bids for the purchase and/or lease purchase of an emergency medical vehicle. The goal is to acquire a Ford E-350 Gas, Cut-Away Van Cab and remount a Type III box to the chassis to enhance emergency medical services in the county.

Work Details
The contract includes the following specific requirements:

1. Purchase or lease purchase of one (1) Ford E-350 Gas, Cut-Away Van Cab, dual rear wheel, two-wheel drive chassis.

2. Remounting of one (1) Type III box to the aforementioned chassis. Specifications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Chancery Clerk of Tallahatchie County. Any reference to name, brand, make, or model is for establishing minimum requirements only; equivalent makes/models will be considered.

Period of Performance
The contract proposals will be accepted until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Tallahatchie County Courthouse in Charleston, Mississippi.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a complete unit price bid with no further calculations required. Bids must include manufacturer warranty details and approximate delivery time. Location for parts and service must also be included in the bid. Any exceptions to specifications must be justified in the bid; failure to do so will disqualify the bid.
