Construction of Sidewalks Along Lorraine Road and Woolmarket Road - Bid Submission Deadline May 8

Background
The City of Biloxi, Harrison County, MS, is seeking bids for the construction of sidewalks along Lorraine Road and Woolmarket Road. The project is part of a Federal Aid Project and the bids are being solicited to complete a total project length of 1.25 miles. The solicitation includes specific requirements for bid submission, including the deadline and location for submission.

Work Details
The work shall consist essentially of the construction of sidewalks along Lorraine Road and Woolmarket Road, as well as all other related items of work required to complete the project as specified in the Contract Documents.
The contractor is responsible for providing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials required by the specifications and drawings referred to therein.
Additionally, the contract will require compliance with minimum wage rates for Federal-Aid projects and provisions governing selection and employment of labor.
The City of Biloxi of Harrison County has also notified all bidders that disadvantaged and women’s business enterprises will be afforded the full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation without discrimination on the grounds of race, color, or national origin.
