Background
The PALMETTO WATER ASSOCIATION is seeking separate and sealed bids for the construction of WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS, ARWAIGG-0410018. The project is expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the ARPA Rural Water Associations Infrastructure Grant (RWAIG). Minority and women's business enterprises are encouraged to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are also encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material, and/or supply needs.
Work Details
The project consists of the following approximate quantities: Replacement of 6,700 linear feet of 6” water line, 39,000 linear feet of 4” water line, and appurtenant items such as bores, valves, fittings, and service lines.
The Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents may be examined at specific locations. The Bid Schedule may be examined at other specific locations.
Based on the Assistance Listing: Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds and Part 2 of the US Treasury State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds Compliance and Reporting Guidance (v3.0 February 2022), certain Uniform Guidance provisions will be required in all contracts.
Each bidder must deposit with this bid security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
Period of Performance
Bids for the construction project will be received until 10:00 A.M. ON FRIDAY THE 24TH DAY OF MAY, 2024.
The contract awarded under this invitation for bids is expected to be performed over a specific period as per the terms and conditions provided in the solicitation.
Place of Performance
The construction work will take place at specific geographic locations including but not limited to PALMETTO WATER ASSOCIATION located at 420 PALMETTO ROAD, TUPELO, MS 38801 and Cook Coggin Engineers, Inc., 703 Crossover Road, Tupelo, Mississippi 38801.
