Asphalt Supply for Hot and Cold Mix Services

Background
The Mississippi Transportation Commission (MTC) is issuing a solicitation for an agency contract to purchase Hot and Cold Mix Asphalt for the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT).

The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability of asphalt materials necessary for road construction and maintenance projects within the state. This initiative is part of MTC's ongoing efforts to maintain and improve transportation infrastructure in Mississippi.

Work Details
The contractor will supply Hot and Cold Mix Asphalt as specified in the Mississippi Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (2017 edition) and any amendments.

All materials must come from suppliers approved by MDOT and are subject to testing by the MDOT Materials Division. Delivery of materials will be required the next day after notification to job sites specified by the District Maintenance Engineer.

Pricing for these materials will be based on Attachment F, which includes pricing pages for full truckload quantities. A Material Adjustment will apply to materials listed on the pricing pages, with adjustments based on Petroleum Products Base Prices issued monthly.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence on July 1, 2025, and conclude on December 31, 2025. There are no extensions available for this contract.

Place of Performance
The delivery locations include all MDOT job sites throughout Mississippi.
