Background
The Board of Supervisors of Lowndes County, Mississippi is seeking sealed bids for an Asphalt Overlay Project as part of their 2025 Road Plan. The goal of this contract is to enhance the road infrastructure within the county by applying a new asphalt surface mix on various roads, ensuring improved safety and accessibility for residents.

Work Details
The contractor will furnish labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install an average compacted depth of 1 ½” and 2” SC-1 surface mix on the following roads:

- Buck Egger Road (3600 ft long, 20 ft wide)
- Academy Street (500 ft long, 18 ft wide)
- Roanoke Circle Entrance (425 ft long, 50 ft wide)
- Roanoke Circle Loop (2500 ft long, 25 ft wide)
- Taylor Raye Lane (950 ft long, 20 ft wide)
- McKenzie Drive (1200 ft long, 17 ft wide)
- Old Wolfe (3500 ft long, 18 ft wide)
- Timbers Drive (1500 ft long, 22 ft wide)
- Matson Road (4000 ft long, 18 ft wide)
- Northview Circle (1450 ft long, 18 ft wide)
- Lakeview Drive (3800 ft long, 18 ft wide)
- South Parkway (1100 ft long, 18 ft wide)
- Westview Lane (700 ft long, 18 ft wide)
- Petersburg Road (2500 ft long, 18 ft wide)
- Mason Drive East (1250 ft long, 20 ft wide)
- Mason Drive West (1450 ft long, 20 ft wide)
- Phillips Hill Road (4700 ft long, 21 ft wide)
- Lura Drive (500 ft long, 17 ft wide)
- Wren Street (1000 ft long, 24 ft wide)
- Applewood Drive (900 ft long, 22 ft wide)
- Swedenburg Circle (2700 ft long, 26 ft wide)
- Watson Road (5000 ft long, 17ft wide)
- Evans Road (3700 ft long, 21ft wide)
- Motley Road (4200ft long, 20ft wide).

It is mandatory for bidders to ride all roads with the road manager before submitting their bids. A performance bond and payment bond are required.

Period of Performance
The contract work is scheduled to be performed following the bid opening on March 25th, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Lowndes County, specifically on the listed roads within Columbus, Mississippi.
