2024 SRF Water System Improvements Water Supply Well Construction (Contract 2)

Background
The Clayton Village Water Association is issuing a solicitation for the construction of the 2024 SRF Water System Improvements, specifically Contract 2 for Water Supply Well. This project is part of the Safe Drinking Water Act’s State Revolving Loan Funds, aimed at improving water supply systems in the area.

Work Details
The project includes the following approximate bid items and quantities:
- Lump sum mobilization
- Construction of a 1400 GPM production well
- Additional production well depth with a steel casing allowance of 50 vertical feet (VF)
- Additional production well screen length allowance
- 25 VF additional production well lap pipe length allowance

Other components include lump sum values for:
- A chemical building
- Chlorination equipment
- Chlorine injection pit
- Phosphate equipment
- Yard piping
- Electrical work
- SCADA system installation
- Site earthwork (including crushed stone access road)
- Erosion control measures
- Installation of 500 feet of temporary silt fence and chain link fencing.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be performed until December 16, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations within Clayton Village, Mississippi.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with American Iron and Steel requirements as mandated by the Safe Drinking Water Act. Minority and women's business enterprises are encouraged to participate as prime contractors or subcontractors. Bidders must also provide security with their bid as specified in the Information for Bidders.
