Background
The Boone County Sheriff’s Office, located in Columbia, Missouri, is seeking proposals for a Virtual Reality Training System (VRTS) to enhance training capabilities for law enforcement personnel. Work Details
The contractor shall provide, set up, and support a Virtual Reality Training System that includes:
1. A scalable and fully portable system capable of accommodating at least eight officers simultaneously.
2. Realistic weapon platforms including handguns, rifles, Tasers, OC/Pepper spray, and optional shotguns.
3. Features such as an Operator Sketch tool for scenario creation, quick mapping of locations using scanning technology, audio recording of scenarios, after-action review capabilities, eye tracking analytics, and incorporation of real training locations.
4. All necessary hardware (including two headsets), software, supplies (such as batteries and chargers), accessories (like cases), initial on-site training for staff, and ongoing customer support must be included in the quoted pricing.
Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and last for one year with five optional one-year renewal periods.

The services will be performed at the Boone County Sheriff’s Office located at 2121 County Drive in Columbia, Missouri.
