Upgrade HVAC

Background
The State of Missouri, through the Division of Facilities Management, Design and Construction, is seeking bids for the upgrade of the HVAC system at the Ozark Correctional Center located in Fordland, Missouri. This project aims to enhance the facility's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to improve operational efficiency and comfort for inmates and staff. The project number is C2324-01.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Demolition of existing mechanical systems as specified in the contract documents.

2. Installation of new HVAC equipment including forced air natural gas heating systems, rooftop units, electric heating systems, and building automation systems.

3. Coordination with other trades to ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

4. Compliance with all local codes and regulations including obtaining necessary permits and inspections.

5. Guaranteeing all equipment against defects for one year from final acceptance.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be completed by September 30, 2026, allowing for ten working days for document mailing and processing.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Ozark Correctional Center located at 929 Honor Camp Ln, Fordland, MO 65652.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet specific participation goals: MBE (10%), WBE (10%), and SDVE (3%). Only firms certified by the State of Missouri Office of Equal Opportunity may be used to satisfy these goals. Bidders must also provide a 5% bid bond or cashier's check with their proposal.
