Scullin Demolition Existing Structures and Site Restoration

Background
The Board of Education of the City of St. Louis, operating as St. Louis Public Schools (SLPS), is seeking qualified firms to provide comprehensive demolition and site restoration services at a former school site.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the safe and compliant demolition of existing structures and the restoration of the site for future use, adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, permitting, environmental compliance, structural demolition, removal of foundations and appurtenances, lawful disposal of debris, and full site restoration to a safe and stable condition.
All work must comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to follow a timeline that includes a virtual pre-bid meeting on April 10, 2026, with proposals due by May 8, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at a designated former school site within the City of St. Louis.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must register with the Bonfire Interactive Procurement Portal.
A Bid Bond or Certified Check equal to 5% of the Base Bid is required.
Bidders must comply with prevailing wage laws and submit weekly payroll sheets along with an Affidavit of Compliance.
Additionally, bidders are encouraged to include MBE/WBE participation in their proposals.
