RFB 2791-27 East Repeater Site Upgrade or Replace Radio Communications Equipment

Background
The City of Branson is soliciting bids for Branson Fire Rescue to perform specific radio communications equipment and antenna work at the East Repeater Site.
The goal of this contract is to update or replace aged equipment at one of the City’s repeater stations, enhancing the operational capabilities of the fire rescue services.

Work Details
The successful bidder will be responsible for updating or replacing radio communications equipment at the East Repeater Site, which includes:
- Repeater radio station
- Voting receivers
- Duplexers
- Lightning protection
- Antenna
- Transmission line and associated connectors
- Grounding kits and hardware
- Associated cabinets and wiring hardware.

Additionally, the contractor must provide a detailed list of equipment evaluated during their site visit and explain how the work will be performed, including recommendations and exceptions to the specifications. The contractor is also responsible for assisting with necessary licensing modifications and providing a quotation for equipment and labor, including any trade-in amounts for existing components.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by February 27, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the East Repeater Site located on the communications tower at 2441 E State Hwy 76, Branson, MO 65616.
