REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) OA FMDC OPERATION 0000000046SL: Real Estate Appraisal Services

Background
The State of Missouri's Division of Facilities Management, Design & Construction (FMDC) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Real Estate Appraisal Services. The purpose of this contract is to provide appraisal services to support the state's real estate needs. The agency aims to secure qualified contractors who can deliver these services effectively and efficiently, ensuring compliance with state regulations and standards.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide Real Estate Appraisal Services, which include:
1. Conducting approximately 20 appraisals annually, each requiring about one day of fieldwork.
2. Preparing written appraisal reports in narrative form and delivering them within one working day after the estimated completion date.
3. Ensuring that all appraisers are certified by the Missouri Real Estate Appraisers Commission as General Appraisers.
4. Providing legal testimony regarding property values if requested by the Department.
5. Maintaining records related to the contract for ten years after termination or expiration.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from the date of award through one year, with options for renewal for up to three additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations throughout the State of Missouri as determined by the Department's needs.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered in MissouriBUYS in a 'Prospective' or 'Spend Authorized' status and achieve 'Approved' registration status to be considered for contract award. Additionally, contractors must comply with all applicable federal and state laws, including those related to discrimination and employment eligibility.
