REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) OA FMDC OPERATION-FY25-0062-SL: Grounds Maintenance - Michael N. Keathley State Office Building

Background
The State of Missouri's Office of Administration, specifically the Division of Facilities Management, Design and Construction, is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for grounds maintenance services at the Michael N. Keathley State Office Building located at 3101 Chouteau Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63103. The goal of this contract is to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the grounds surrounding the office building to promote a healthy and aesthetically pleasing environment.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive grounds maintenance services which include:

1. Lawn Mowing and Trimming: Mow and trim lawns to specified heights (2.5 inches in spring, 3 inches thereafter) with a minimum of five days between each service.

2. Shrub/Bush Trimming: Maintain shrubs/bushes to a height determined by the Department representative.

3. Mulch Application: Apply mulch to a minimum depth of 2.5 inches in spring, including removal of old mulch and aeration of mulch beds.

4. Lawn Chemical Application: Apply fertilizers and weed preventers as needed.

5. Trash Removal: Remove all trash, debris, and limbs from lawn areas prior to mowing.

6. Grass Clipping Management: Capture clippings near buildings and parking lots; remove clippings from sidewalks and driveways.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and will last for one year, with options for renewal for two additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance
All services will be performed at the Michael N. Keathley State Office Building located at 3101 Chouteau Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63103.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered in MissouriBUYS in a 'Pending' or 'Approved' status to submit a bid. They must also comply with all applicable federal and state laws regarding employment practices, including E-Verify participation for employees hired after enrollment.
