Background
The State of Missouri's Office of Administration, Division of Facilities Management, Design, & Construction is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for janitorial services at the Landers State Office Building located at 149 Park Central Square, Springfield, Missouri. The agency aims to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for its tenants and the general public. The building houses approximately 350 full-time employees and spans around 75,460 total square feet.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide comprehensive janitorial services including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual tasks as outlined in the RFP.

Daily tasks include emptying waste containers, cleaning restrooms and break rooms, vacuuming carpets, sweeping hard surfaces, and disinfecting high-touch areas. Weekly tasks involve cleaning air diffusers and washing trash carts. Monthly tasks require deep carpet cleaning and machine scrubbing of floors. Quarterly tasks include cleaning office partition glass and dusting walls. Semi-annual tasks involve deep cleaning carpets and thorough floor maintenance.

The contractor must also provide personnel including a Day Porter/Matron, Working Supervisor, and Floor Care Specialist with specific qualifications. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for supplying all necessary equipment and environmentally preferable cleaning products.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from the date of award through one (1) year.
