Replace Generator, Program Center

Background
The State of Missouri, through the Office of Administration's Division of Facilities Management, Design and Construction, is issuing a solicitation for the replacement of an existing diesel-powered emergency generator at the South St Louis County Habilitation Center in St Louis, Missouri.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the facility's emergency power capabilities by installing a new generator and associated infrastructure.

Work Details
The project includes:
1) Replacement of the existing diesel-powered emergency generator with a new diesel-powered generator;
2) Installation of a new dual-purpose 1200 amp exterior docking station with cam locks for temporary generator and load bank connections;
3) Installation of a new interior automatic transfer switch;
4) Installation of new emergency power feeders;
5) Selected demolition and removal of the existing fuel storage tank.
The project number is M2328-01.

Period of Performance
The contractor agrees to complete the work within 280 working days from the date the Notice of Intent to Award is issued. This period includes ten (10) working days for document mailing and processing.

Place of Performance
South St Louis County Habilitation Center, St Louis, Missouri.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet specific participation goals: MBE 10%, WBE 10%, and SDVE 3%. Only firms certified by the State of Missouri Office of Equal Opportunity can be used to satisfy these goals.
Additionally, bidders must provide a 5% Bid Bond or Cashier's Check/Bank Draft with their bid and comply with prevailing wage laws as per Missouri regulations.
