Background
The State of Missouri is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the replacement of the inner perimeter fence at the Hawthorn Children's Psychiatric Hospital.

The agency's mission is to provide quality mental health services, and this project aims to enhance security and operational efficiency at the facility.

Work Details
The project includes the following tasks:

- Removal and replacement of the existing inner perimeter fence.
- Installation of a manway access gate and a vehicle access gate.
- Construction of concrete foundations.
- Removal of an existing manway access gate.
- Contract utility locate service to identify existing onsite private utilities to prevent damage during construction.
- Installation of a temporary site security fence to secure the inner perimeter courtyard during the removal and replacement process.
- Implementation of erosion control measures and stormwater pollution prevention.
- Landscape finish grading, seeding, and fertilizing.

All necessary appurtenances and minor details required to ensure that the completed improvements are fully operational according to project plans and specifications.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from September 21, 2024, at 8:00 AM CDT until October 24, 2024, at 1:30 PM CDT.

Place of Performance
The work will be conducted at Hawthorn Children's Psychiatric Hospital.
