REBID - Retail Foodservice Renovation - Qdoba, Dunkin Donut, and Erbert Gerbert

Background
The University of Central Missouri (UCM) is issuing a solicitation for the renovation of retail foodservice areas, specifically for Erbert & Gerbert's and Qdoba. The goal of this project is to enhance the kitchen facilities by installing new kitchen equipment purchased by UCM, while ensuring compliance with applicable building codes and regulations. This is a rebid from a previous solicitation, and all contractors are required to submit their bids through the UCM eBid system.

Work Details
Contractors are responsible for the installation of kitchen equipment at Erbert & Gerbert's and Qdoba. The scope includes:
- Installation of kitchen equipment purchased by UCM.
- Connection of all kitchen equipment at all three locations (Erbert & Gerbert's, Qdoba, and Dunkin Donut).
- Providing a scheduled date for completion of construction and a timeline for installation after the equipment arrives.
- Compliance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and ordinances during construction.
- Proper disposal of any items removed during demolition as per EPA regulations.
- Coordination with UCM for site access and staging areas.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and must be completed within the timeline specified in the bid documents. Specific dates will be provided during the bidding process.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the University of Central Missouri campus in Warrensburg, MO, specifically at the Elliott Student Union where Erbert & Gerbert's and Qdoba are located.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific requirements including:
- Submission of bid bonds electronically via Surety2000 starting December 1, 2025.
- Attendance at a pre-bid meeting on January 7, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Elliott Student Union for site viewing.
- All contractors must ensure they have proper bonding and insurance as required by UCM.
