Rebid Ready Mix Concrete 2025

Background
The Jefferson County Department of Administrative Services is issuing this Invitation for Bid for the procurement of ready mix concrete for the year 2025. The purpose of this contract is to provide high-quality concrete materials that meet specific construction standards as part of the county's ongoing infrastructure projects.

The contract aims to ensure that all materials supplied are compliant with Missouri state specifications and are delivered in a timely manner to support various public works initiatives.

Work Details
The contractor will supply ready mix concrete that meets the specifications outlined in Sections 501, 703, and Division 1000 of the January 2022 Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. The concrete must include fine and coarse aggregates from approved sources compliant with state regulations.

The following classes of concrete are required:
- Class B (3,000 psi)
- Class B-1 (4,000 psi)
- Class B-2 (4,000 psi)
- Pavement concrete, with pricing provided per cubic yard.

Additional charges may apply for short loads, mileage, winter service, calcium additives, extra sacks of cement, air entrainment, concrete test cylinders, and precast stackable concrete blocks. All prices must include shipping, handling, and delivery costs to specified locations within Jefferson County.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for one year from the date of approval by the County Council and County Executive, with options for two additional one-year renewals upon mutual agreement.

The services will be performed within Jefferson County, Missouri.
