Rebid Historic Downtown Phase 4 Streetscape Improvements

Background
The City of Branson, Missouri is issuing a Request for Bids (RFB) for the Historic Downtown Phase 4 Streetscape Improvements project. This initiative aims to enhance the downtown area by reconstructing Main Street from Veterans Boulevard to Sycamore Street, thereby improving accessibility and aesthetics in the historic district.

Work Details
The work includes complete reconstruction of Main Street and encompasses various tasks such as removals, excavation, roadway and sidewalk reconstruction, installation of roadway lighting, water main installation, storm sewer construction, landscaping, irrigation systems, signage installation, temporary erosion control measures, temporary traffic control setups, and other miscellaneous work as outlined in the contract documents.

- Demolition/removal of existing structures
- Traffic control phases
- Erosion control measures
- Sidewalk and roadway improvements with various types of pavers and concrete specifications
- Landscaping with irrigation systems
- Installation of street furniture and lighting fixtures
- Water main installations including valves and hydrants
- Stormwater management systems including inlets and pipes
- Permanent traffic signage.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence on or before April 1, 2025 and must be fully completed no later than October 15, 2025. The total duration for completion is set at 197 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
