Project No. EV4070 Dangerous Buildings- Demolition Services IDIQ - Rebid #2

Background
The City of Kansas City, Missouri, through its General Services Department, is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Dangerous Buildings Demolition Services under Project No. EV4070. The goal of this contract is to provide demolition services for buildings deemed dangerous on specified lots, tracts, or parcels of land within Kansas City, as designated by street address and parcel number outlined in the contract documents.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the demolition of buildings identified as dangerous by the City. This includes but is not limited to:
- Performing site assessments and inspections prior to demolition.
- Obtaining necessary permits and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Safely demolishing structures while adhering to safety protocols.
- Proper disposal of debris and hazardous materials in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Providing a detailed plan for managing and disposing of demolition debris responsibly.
- Submitting daily labor force reports and certified payroll information as required by the City.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will be one year from the date specified in the written Notice to Proceed issued by the Manager of Procurement Services. The City reserves the right to renew this contract for up to four additional one-year terms.

Place of Performance
Demolition services will be performed at various locations throughout Kansas City, Missouri, as specified in the contract documents.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all federal, state, and local laws applicable to the work. They are required to submit a Pre-Contract Bidder’s Certification and provide evidence of experience with similar projects. Additionally, contractors must demonstrate compliance with prevailing wage laws and provide proof of insurance coverage as specified in the contract documents.
