Plumbing Renovation at Hidden Valley Park

Background
The City of Blue Springs, Missouri, is seeking proposals for plumbing renovations at Hidden Valley Park, a sports complex located at 6500 NW Valley View Dr. The park has multiple aging facilities that require significant upgrades to maintain usability for community events and sports leagues. The renovations aim to address consistent plumbing failures and improve restroom facilities to attract national-level tournaments and visitors.

Work Details
The project involves the complete renovation of plumbing and bathroom fixtures at five restroom facilities within Hidden Valley Park:

- Soccer Complex
- Football/Playground location
- Baseball Complex
- Small Softball Complex
- Large Softball Complex

Specific tasks include:
- Demolition of existing plumbing and fixtures (to be handled by the City).
- Installation of new porcelain fixtures with automatic flushers and push button faucets.
- Replacement of plumbing carriers, installation of new electric water heaters, and replacement of mop sink faucets.
- Insulation of all plumbing with fiberglass insulation.

Each facility will have varying numbers of urinals, stalls, sinks, and drinking fountains that need to be replaced or installed as follows:
- Soccer Complex: 2 urinals, 3 stalls, 2 sinks, 1 drinking fountain.
- Football/Playground Complex: 2 urinals, 3 stalls, 2 sinks, 1 drinking fountain.
- Baseball Complex: 2 urinals, 4 stalls, 2 sinks, 1 drinking fountain.
- Small Softball Complex: 1 urinal, 5 stalls, 2 sinks, 1 drinking fountain.
- Large Softball Complex: 2 urinals, 9 stalls (including one family restroom), 3 sinks, and one drinking fountain.

Period of Performance
Work is expected to commence no earlier than January 1, 2025, with a target completion date prior to March 15, 2025.

The contract work will be performed at Hidden Valley Park located at 6500 NW Valley View Dr., Blue Springs, MO.
