Background
The City of Springfield, Missouri, through its Public Works Department, is seeking proposals for an Integrated Asset Management System focused on the sidewalk and pedestrian network. Work Details
The project encompasses three main components: an overall Asset Management System (AMS), a new Sidewalk Inventory, and an Asset Management Plan. The AMS must integrate sidewalk data into an ArcGIS database with customizable extraction capabilities. It should include mobile access for field data collection, reporting features for asset information and compliance tracking, and practical cost identification for repairs.
The Sidewalk Inventory will create a comprehensive database detailing sidewalk features such as width, length, slope, fault locations, and compliance with ADA standards. The Asset Management Plan will provide strategies for prioritizing repairs and updating the existing ADA Transition Plan. Key requirements include:
