Installation of Water Softeners at City Buildings

Background
The City of Blue Springs, Missouri, is seeking a contractor to address ongoing issues with calcium buildup in the water lines of various city facilities. This project aims to install specified water softeners at multiple city-owned buildings to improve water quality and reduce plumbing issues. The City has a population of approximately 60,000 residents and is projected to grow in the coming years. The Parks and Recreation Department is overseeing this initiative, which is funded by city resources.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation of water softeners at the following locations:

1. Carson Ross Community Recreation Complex - Install two Watts One Flow 775 systems.
2. Vesper Hall - Install one Watts One Flow T50 system.
3. Blue Springs City Hall (2" water service) - Install one Watts One Flow T50 system.
4. Blue Springs City Hall (1%" water service) - Install one Watts One Flow T50 system.
5. Blue Springs Public Safety Building - Install two Watts One Flow T75 systems.

The specified product is the Watts One Flow Anti-Scale system; however, alternative products may be proposed if they meet or exceed the specifications provided.

Period of Performance
Work is expected to commence no earlier than November 5, 2024, and must be completed by April 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
The installations will take place at various locations within Blue Springs, Missouri: Carson Ross Community Recreation Complex, Vesper Hall, Blue Springs City Hall (two locations), and the Blue Springs Public Safety Building.
