Install New Emergency Backup System

Background
The State of Missouri, through the Office of Administration, Division of Facilities Management, Design and Construction, is seeking bids for the installation of a new emergency backup system at the Transition Center of St. Louis.
This project aims to enhance the facility's resilience by providing a reliable power source during outages.

Work Details
The project includes:
- Installation of a full-building stand-by generator.
- Provision of a service-rated Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS).
- Installation of a new Ameren Meter cabinet.
- Relocation of Ameren primary feeders.
- An alternate option includes providing a closed transition, service-rated, 4 pole, NEMA 4x ATS in place of an open transition ATS and changing the ATS main utility supply breaker to a 1200A LSIG shunt trip breaker as per Ameren UE requirements.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be completed within a specified number of working days from the date the Notice of Intent to Award is issued. This includes ten (10) working days for document mailing and processing.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet MBE/WBE/SDVE participation goals: MBE 10%, WBE 10%, and SDVE 3%. Only firms certified by the State of Missouri Office of Equal Opportunity can be counted towards these goals.
Bidders must also provide a 5% Bid Bond or Cashier's Check with their bid submission.
