Furniture for the University of Missouri St. Louis Richter Family Welcome Center & JC Penney Offices

Background
The University of Missouri is seeking proposals for the furnishing and delivery of furniture for the Richter Family Welcome Center and JC Penney Offices at the University of Missouri St. Louis (UMSL). The project aims to enhance the campus experience for prospective students and alumni through a renovated space that includes a new lobby, gathering areas, meeting rooms, and office suites. UMSL is committed to providing excellent learning experiences and leadership opportunities to its diverse student body.

Work Details
The contract involves the complete furnishing of the Richter Family Welcome Center and JC Penney Offices, including but not limited to:
- Task chairs
- Conference chairs
- Lounge furniture
- Meeting tables
- Occasional tables
- Workstations
- Storage units
- Accessories

Specific quantities include:
- 45 C-1 Meeting Chairs
- 13 C-2 Meeting Chairs
- Various lounge benches and chairs in specified quantities
- Multiple conference tables including T-1A through T-4 with specified quantities.

All items must meet the Basis of Design specifications provided in the attachments. Delivery and professional installation are required.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to last for one year. Tentative installation is scheduled to start on January 26, 2026, with completion by February 20, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the University of Missouri St. Louis campus located in St. Louis, Missouri.

Bidder Requirements
Respondents must be Missouri-based companies within a 30-mile radius of UMSL. They must provide an owner/manager with at least five years of experience in commercial FF&E products. The installation company must be factory trained with prior experience in higher education projects. Respondents are encouraged to propose participation by Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women Business Enterprises (WBE), or Service-Disabled Veteran Enterprises (SDVE) as part of their proposal.
