Equipment Rental Services 2025

Background
The Jefferson County Department of Administrative Services is issuing an Invitation for Bid for Equipment Rental Services for the year 2025. The goal of this contract is to provide various types of rental equipment without operators to support the county's public works and other operational needs. The county intends to establish a reliable source for equipment rentals that can be utilized as needed throughout the year.

Work Details
The contractor will supply rental equipment without operators, including but not limited to:
- Rubber Tire Backhoe with 1500-2000 lb. Breaker Hammer
- Track Hoe with 2500-5000 lb. Breaker Hammer
- Air Compressors and Air Tools
- Generators
- Bobcats (Skid Steers) and Attachments
- Compaction Equipment/Roller
- Excavation Equipment (Large, Medium, and Mini Excavator)
- Attachments for Excavation Equipment
- Lifting/Hoarding Equipment
- Mixers
- Pumps and Pumpers
- Saws
- Brooms/Street Sweepers
- Hydro Flusher/Vacuum Truck/Trailer
- Milling Machine
- Tractor with Mower (Side Mount Brush Hog or Boom Attachment)
- Asphalt Pavers
- Power Washers
- Sand Blaster and Equipment
- Message Boards
- Automated Flagger Devices
- Porta Potty’s
- Portable Traffic Lights. The vendor must provide a toll-free number for placing orders and ensure equipment availability within five days of order placement.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for one year from the date of acceptance, with options to renew for two additional one-year terms upon written consent from the successful bidder.

Place of Performance
Equipment will primarily be picked up at the vendor's location; however, delivery may occasionally be required at the County's designated address: 5275 State Highway B, Hillsboro, MO.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a current and valid Certificate of Insurance showing required coverage, proof of no delinquent real or personal property taxes in Jefferson County, notarized affidavits regarding work authorization, and compliance with E-verification documentation. Additionally, bidders must not be debarred or suspended from participation in Federal Assistance programs.
