Background
Saint Louis Public School (SLPS) is seeking proposals from qualified and licensed vendors to provide district-wide Vending Machine Services. The goal of this contract is to furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and expertise necessary to provide vending services for machines located outside of school cafeterias and other mutually agreed upon locations on District Property.
The District currently maintains approximately 38 snack vending machines and 72 beverage vending machines in schools and administration buildings. Snack and beverage vending services will be combined under a single contract. The initial contract term will run from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, with options to renew annually for up to three additional one-year periods.
Work Details
The vendor will be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and expertise necessary for vending services. This includes:
- Furnishing and installing snack and beverage vending machines that are no older than five years.
- Ensuring machines accept legal U.S. currency and coins.
- Equipping machines with non-resettable counters.
- Maintaining compliance with local laws.
- Providing a variety of snack and beverage products.
- Maintaining 24/7 service availability.
- Responding to service calls within four hours.
- Replacing non-functional equipment within specified timeframes.
- Ensuring all products comply with USDA guidelines.
- Managing inventory control.
- Submitting monthly itemized statements detailing sales and commissions.
Period of Performance
The initial contract term is from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, with options for three additional one-year renewals.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations on District Property in Saint Louis.
