Columbia Solid Waste Administrative Building Truck Wash

Background
The City of Columbia, Missouri, is seeking proposals for the construction of a new truck wash facility at the Solid Waste Administrative Building. This project aims to enhance the operational efficiency and maintenance of the city's solid waste vehicles. The contract will be awarded to a qualified contractor who can meet the specifications and requirements outlined in the Request for Quotation (RFQ) 78/2025.

Work Details
The contractor is required to perform all work in accordance with the specifications and plans set forth in the RFQ. This includes but is not limited to:
- Construction of a new truck wash facility
- Installation of necessary plumbing and electrical systems

- Compliance with all relevant building codes and safety regulations.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all requirements related to prevailing wage laws as per Missouri Revised Statutes Sections 290.210 to 290.340. Contractors are encouraged to utilize materials manufactured or produced in the United States when quality and price are comparable. Additionally, contractors must maintain specific insurance coverages including Workers’ Compensation, Commercial General Liability, and Business Auto Liability throughout the duration of the contract.
