25-056 RFP Family Arena New Lighting Project

Background
St. Charles County, Missouri, is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify and contract with a qualified firm to supply and install a new lighting system for The Family Arena. The Family Arena, owned and operated by St. Charles County Government since its opening in 1999, has utilized a Microlite system which is now being replaced. The goal of this contract is to enhance the lighting capabilities across various areas of the arena including the bowl, suites, concourse, restrooms, concession stands, and parking lot.

Work Details
The contractor will replace the existing Microlite System with a new lighting system that must operate all existing lights in specified areas: bowl, suites, concourse, concourse signs, restrooms, concession stands, and parking lot lights. The proposal must include all necessary equipment for operation including wiring and installation services. Specific requirements include:

1) Replacement of the existing Micro Lighting System;
2) Provision of all equipment needed to operate the aforementioned areas;
3) Installation of the new system.

Period of Performance
The anticipated timeline for vendor proposals is due by April 3, 2025. The execution of the contract and award is expected in May/June 2025. The completion date for the project will be determined following the notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at The Family Arena located at 2002 Arena Parkway, St. Charles, Missouri.
