24-182 Quail Ridge Lake Reovation

Background
St. Charles County Government in Missouri is seeking bids for the renovation of Quail Ridge Lake. The goal of this contract is to improve the lake's condition and enhance its recreational value for the community. The project involves various tasks including draining the existing lake, removing old fish habitats, and installing new features to support aquatic life.

Work Details
The project includes the following tasks:

1. Drain the existing lake near Quail Ridge Lodge.
2. Remove and dispose of existing fish habitat structures.
3. Remove sediment to achieve desired depth as per site plan specifications.
4. Repair any rodent damage and erosion issues around the lake area.
5. Install a new lake liner that is a minimum of 45 millimeters thick, with compacted clay on top.
6. Install new fish habitat structures and bubblers in the lake, including:
- Installation of 4-6” rip rap along the west side of the bank from emergency overflow, extending 4’ above high water mark;
- Creation of a spawning bed with 4” of pea gravel (approximately 60’x30’);
- Construction of an 8’x8’ fish habitat using rip rap;
- Installation of a bubbler system with three bubblers connected to an aeration box set on a small concrete pad (approx. 4’x4’).

All sediment, spoils, and extra dirt must be removed off-site after completion.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for approximately twelve (12) months from the date of notice of award, with an option for renewal for an additional three (3) month period at the same terms and conditions.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Quail Ridge Park located at 24 Columbine Ln, Wentzville, Missouri.
