24-155 Police Firing Range Expansion

Background
St. Charles County Government in Missouri is seeking bids for the expansion of the Police Firing Range. The project aims to enhance the training capabilities of local law enforcement by adding additional firing lanes and related infrastructure.

Work Details
The project involves site work for an existing berm, construction of a new firing range layout, and installation of a septum precast wall with 20 new firing lanes equipped with targeting systems and a granular rubber bullet trap.

A pavilion will be constructed behind the 50-yard firing line to house electrical equipment and target system controllers. Specific tasks include:
- Installation of electrical panel TL as shown on FGMA drawings sheet E1.01.
- Supplying and installing a granular bullet trap.
- Providing a concrete pad as per FGMA drawings.
- Hauling off clean dirt to a designated site approximately 3.4 miles from the construction site.
- Compliance with all provisions of the Prevailing Wage Law, with penalties for non-compliance.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be effective for approximately nine (9) months from the date of notice of award.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the St. Charles County Police Training Facility located in St. Charles, Missouri.
