Vending Machine Rental, Products, and Services

Background
The State of Minnesota, through its Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA), is seeking proposals for the rental, products, and services related to vending machines. The goal of this solicitation is to provide food and beverage vending services at specific MDVA locations, namely Montevideo and Silver Bay. This contract aims to enhance the availability of refreshments for veterans and visitors at these facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:
- Rental of one food vending machine and one beverage vending machine at each specified location (Montevideo and Silver Bay).
- Regular stocking of the machines with a variety of food and beverage options.
- Maintenance and servicing of the vending machines to ensure they are operational at all times.
- Timely response to service calls for repairs or restocking needs.
- Compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and storage.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2026, and will expire on March 31, 2027. There is an option for extension for up to an additional 24 months in increments determined by the State.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs locations in Montevideo and Silver Bay.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including business registration requirements. The contractor must not be debarred or suspended by any government entity. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to demonstrate their commitment to diversity by including minority-owned, women-owned, and veteran-owned businesses in their proposals.
