Student Information System (SIS) / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System Modernization

Background
Rochester Public Schools (ISD 535) is seeking to modernize its administrative and student management systems by procuring a comprehensive Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or Student Information System (SIS) software solution.
The initiative aims to replace outdated legacy systems with an integrated platform that enhances operational efficiency, streamlines processes, and supports the District's educational mission.
The selected vendor will be responsible for software implementation, data migration, user training, and ongoing support to ensure a successful transition.

Work Details
The contract includes the following key components:
1. ERP Functional Requirements:
- Financial Management: Budgeting, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, purchasing, financial reporting.
- Human Resources: Payroll processing, time and attendance tracking, benefits management, recruitment/onboarding tools.
2. SIS Functional Requirements:
- Student Data Management: Enrollment/registration, attendance tracking, grading/reporting capabilities, special education management.
- Family Engagement: Mobile-friendly parent portal for monitoring grades and attendance; automated communication tools.
3. Professional Services Required:
- Project management, software installation/configuration, implementation consulting, training/documentation support.
4. Desired Enhancements:
- User experience improvements with intuitive interfaces; advanced data access/reporting capabilities; automation of workflows; seamless integration with third-party tools.

Period of Performance
The project kickoff is expected on or before July 1st, 2025, with a go-live date anticipated for July 1st, 2026.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within Rochester Public Schools located in Rochester, Minnesota.
