Background
The City of St. Paul Department of Safety and Inspection (DSI) is seeking quotes for the demolition of 693 Cook Avenue East. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safe and efficient demolition of the specified structure, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the complete demolition of the structure, including the removal of basement walls, basement floor, associated footings, stairs, stoops, concrete slabs, and all debris on the property.

All gas piping, water piping, sewer pipes, electrical wires, telephone wires, and other utilities must be properly terminated and capped according to utility company instructions. The contractor must hire a licensed pest abatement contractor for rodent control prior to demolition. Dust control measures must be implemented during demolition activities.

The site must be left clean and sanitary with proper grading and erosion control measures in place. Inspections by city officials are required throughout the process.

Period of Performance
Demolition work must commence within five (5) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed and must be completed within thirty (30) calendar days after work has begun.
