RFP - PS - Security Services

Background
The City of Minneapolis is soliciting proposals from qualified Consultants for the operation of Security Services in support of Special Events and staffing needs at City-owned sites and property in response to staffing shortages, catastrophic events or disruptions in City services. The RFP aims to select a qualified Contracting Firm for providing Security Services.

Work Details
The services under this contract will consist of both scheduled (planned) and/or short notice (unplanned) security coverage which will be requested by the Minneapolis Security Manager or designee.

The RFP identifies the expectations of the Consultant with respect to staffing, training, methods, service delivery, equipment, and invoicing.

Period of Performance
The estimated services start date is September 1, 2024, and the estimated services end date is August 30, 2026. The duration of the contract is not to exceed 5 years.

Place of Performance
The geographic location(s) where the security services will be provided are City-owned sites and property in Minneapolis.
