RFP - IT - SWS Project Management Software

Background
The City of Minneapolis, through its Information Technology department, is seeking proposals for an Infrastructure Project Management Tool to support the Surface Water & Sewer (SWS) division.

The goal is to enhance project management capabilities for capital improvement projects related to sanitary and storm sewer infrastructure. The current reliance on traditional documentation methods has proven inefficient due to the increasing complexity of the capital program, necessitating a more integrated and effective software solution.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide a web-based software solution that includes:

1. Centralized Project Repository for easy access to project data.
2. Communication Tools for real-time collaboration among team members.
3. Task and Timeline Tracking capabilities to monitor project progress and deadlines.
4. A robust Budgeting system that integrates with existing tools like COMET and tracks change orders.
5. Inspection functionalities that expand upon the current Diaro app usage across all project locations.
6. Document Management features for secure storage and sharing of project documents.
7. Customizable Reporting options tailored to stakeholder needs.
8. Contractor Access allowing contractors to upload project status updates at key milestones.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence in Q1 2025 and run through Q1 2028, with a total duration not exceeding five years (initial three years plus an option for two additional years).

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
