Background
The City of Minneapolis, through its Health Department, is seeking a qualified Consulting Firm to provide marketing campaign services. The goal of this contract is to develop comprehensive advertising and marketing campaigns that effectively communicate public health messaging to diverse audiences, particularly focusing on programs related to health and environmental initiatives.
The funding for the project will vary annually based on the Health Department's budget.
Work Details
The selected Consultant will be responsible for creating a full-service marketing campaign that includes:
- Development of a social media plan and content creation (including graphics and videos).
- Digital and print ad placements.
- Radio/video ad placement and content creation.
- Creation of neighborhood and business toolkits.
- Person-to-person outreach strategies such as door-knocking.
- Implementation of an influencer program.
- Production of print collateral including brochures, flyers, yard signs, and posters.
- Additional components recommended to strengthen the campaign.
- Community outreach collateral in both print and digital formats.
Deliverables will also include a media plan and ad buy, radio scripts, and adherence to City branding guidelines provided by the Health Department Communications Manager.
Period of Performance
The estimated start date for services is March 3, 2025, with an estimated end date of December 31, 2025. The contract may be renewed annually at the discretion of the Health Department for up to four additional years based on funding availability.
