Work Details
The selected architectural or engineering design firm will be responsible for:

- Modernizing or replacing the existing elevator system to meet current accessibility, safety, and performance standards.
- Preparing complete design documents suitable for public bidding and permitting.
- Conducting field investigations of the existing elevator and associated structural/electrical systems.
- Coordinating with local and state historic preservation authorities.
- Performing code compliance reviews (ADA, life safety, building/elevator codes).
- Providing cost estimating and value engineering support.
- Assisting during bidding and contractor selection processes.
- Overseeing construction administration throughout project completion.
Period of Performance
