Replace Generator at Minnesota Judicial Building

The contract work involves replacing the existing generator at the Minnesota Judicial Building. This includes removing and dismantling the current generator, transporting a new generator (provided by the Department of Administration, Facilities Management Division) from storage to the site, and modifying the generator site to relocate it to the east side of the building. The contractor will be responsible for all necessary electrical, mechanical, site work, and concrete construction under a single prime contract. The scope of work also requires the construction and installation of a new retaining wall, drainage system, fencing, and a new concrete pad, as well as making new electrical and fuel piping connections. Placement of the generator will require the use of a crane. The State of Minnesota is requesting this work as part of State Project Number 02JC0043.
