REBID Grease Traps Installation, PCAE

Background
The Perpich Center for Arts Education, part of the State of Minnesota, is seeking proposals for the installation of grease removal devices (GRDs) in compliance with local and federal regulations.
This solicitation is a rebid of a previous opportunity (ID: E2501-2000016698) and aims to ensure adherence to the City of Golden Valley's policies and the Metropolitan Council Environmental Services rules.

Work Details
The contractor will install two grease interceptors in the kitchen of the Perpich Center for Arts Education.
The first interceptor will be placed in a three-bay wash sink, vented through existing vents in a block wall behind the sink bay.
The Perpich Team will remove the sink prior to the contractor's arrival.
The installation must comply with Golden Valley City Code Section 28-51, MCES Rules 406.04, 406.05, and 406.22, as well as EPA Regulation 40 C.F.R. 403.5(b)(3).

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract term is from May 16, 2025, to June 30, 2025, with an option for extension up to an additional 12 months at the discretion of the State.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Perpich Center for Arts Education located at 6125 Olson Memorial Hwy, Golden Valley, MN 55422.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Minnesota's diversity and inclusion commitments and may need to provide documentation regarding their status as minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned businesses or other relevant certifications.
Additionally, contractors must be registered with the Department of Labor and Industry if performing construction services.
