Background
Winona State University is requesting proposals for real estate consultant services to assist in the scoping, appraising, and marketing of Minnesota State-owned property. The principal responsibility of the selected Consultant/Broker is to provide commercial real estate brokerage services to Minnesota State with regard to the sale and disposition of the real property described in this RFP.
Work Details
The services expected to be provided include property valuation, marketing strategy, buyer qualification, transaction management, closing, reporting, and compliance with all laws governing the sale and disposition of State of Minnesota property. The selected consultant/broker will be responsible for providing a comprehensive property valuation report including market trends and sales history. They will also be responsible for marketing the real estate opportunity to brokers and other resources, qualifying potential buyers, managing the transaction process including coordination of attorneys and title companies, ensuring the completion of all necessary documents and coordination of closing. Additionally, they will provide ongoing updates on the status of the sale and comply with all laws governing the sale and disposition of State of Minnesota property.
Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from August 1, 2024 or on the date the last recognized signature is obtained, whichever occurs later. The length of such contract(s) will be until June 30, 2025.
