THIS IS A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP/EVENT/SOLICITATION). Non-electronic and Email responses will NOT BE ACCEPTED. The response must be submitted no later than the end date and time called for in the event. The purpose of this RFP is to accept offers and contract with vendors to provide a source for maintenance services for State of Minnesota owned backup emergency generators. The Minnesota Correctional Facility (MCF) - Faribault and Minnesota State Academies (MSA) - Faribault have a need for preventative maintenance services and repairs that are required on a scheduled or on an as needed basis for its emergency generators. Background
The State of Minnesota, through its Commissioner of Administration, is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for preventative maintenance services and repairs for backup emergency generators owned by the State. This RFP is specifically aimed at the Minnesota Correctional Facility (MCF) - Faribault and the Minnesota State Academies (MSA) - Faribault. The goal is to ensure that these emergency generators are maintained in optimal working condition to support the facilities' operational needs.

Work Details
The contractor will provide preventative maintenance services and repairs for emergency generators located at MCF-Faribault and MSA-Faribault. Services include scheduled maintenance and on-demand repairs as needed. The contractor must ensure that all work meets applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for providing all necessary materials, labor, and equipment to perform the required services satisfactorily.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from June 1, 2025, until May 31, 2027. It may be extended for up to an additional 36 months through a duly executed amendment.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Minnesota Correctional Facility (MCF) - Faribault and the Minnesota State Academies (MSA) - Faribault.
