Pest Control Services

Background
St. Cloud State University (SCSU) is seeking professional pest control services to address pest issues across all university buildings. The goal of the contract is to ensure a safe and healthy environment by effectively managing pests such as crawling insects, rodents, bedbugs, and roaches. The university aims to utilize EPA-approved, low-toxicity, and environmentally safe treatments whenever feasible.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive pest control services including but not limited to:
- Treatment for crawling insects, rodents, bedbugs, and roaches in all SCSU buildings.
- Specific service areas include:
A. Residential Halls Building Exteriors
B. Academic & Administrative Building Exteriors
C. Atwood Memorial Building Exterior
D. Bed Bug/Roaches/Flea Treatment in Residential Life rooms as needed
E. Garvey Commons (serviced monthly):
- Total of 12 Insect Light Traps (ILT)
- Purge Machines twice in dishwasher area
- Quarterly drain sanitation (estimated 45 drains)
- Exterior fly bait at dumpsters and spot fly bait by entrance doors
- Food service pest control
F. Atwood Memorial Center (serviced monthly):
- Two insect ILTs
- Quarterly drain sanitation (estimated 25 drains)
- Fly bait at dumpsters and spot fly bait by entrance doors
- Food service pest control
G. Husky Stadium: service January, April, July – November
H. Halenbeck Hall (North) 3rd Floor Concession: service monthly September – May
I. Fieldhouse Concession: service monthly year-round
J. Herb Brooks National Hockey Center:
- Monthly servicing from October – March for main concessions and the 4th floor concession.
- Monthly servicing for concessions between the ice rinks.
- All equipment necessary for rodent and insect control must be provided at no additional charge.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2025, for a duration of one year with an option to renew for four additional one-year terms, potentially extending until June 30, 2030.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within St. Cloud State University’s campus.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Minnesota State's requirements including having appropriate licenses and certifications for pest control services. They should also provide evidence of experience with similar properties and submit a current ACCORD Certificate of Liability Insurance.
