Background
The Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government is seeking proposals for a Streaming Video Solution for the Louisville Free Public Library. This initiative aims to enhance library services by providing patrons with access to a diverse range of streaming video content across multiple platforms. The Metro Government emphasizes the importance of competitive negotiation in selecting a vendor, as the specifications for the service cannot be strictly defined.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide a streaming video service that includes:
- Access to a service platform at no additional charge.
- Availability of the streaming service on multiple platforms including Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Google TV.
- Regularly updated Machine-Readable Cataloging (MARC) records provided at no cost.
- The proposal must demonstrate how it meets the specific needs of library patrons and ensure ease of access and viewing.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will be effective for an initial term, with options for renewal based on mutual agreement. Specific timelines will be outlined in the final contract.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must comply with affirmative action requirements regarding employment and subcontracting of Minority, Female, and Handicapped-owned businesses. Vendors must be registered with the Revenue Commission and have all required taxes paid prior to contract award.
