Outdoor Furniture

Background
The State of Minnesota, through the MDVA-Montevideo Veterans Home, is seeking bids for outdoor furniture as part of its commitment to provide quality amenities for veterans. The goal of this contract is to procure durable and aesthetically pleasing outdoor furniture that meets specific requirements outlined in the solicitation. This initiative aligns with the agency's mission to enhance the living conditions of veterans residing at the Montevideo Veterans Home.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following outdoor furniture:

- Quantity: 8 Side Tables
- Quantity: 6 Dining Tables (minimum dimensions: 37.5 inches wide, 30 inches high, and 73.5 inches long; shape can be rectangle or oval)
- Quantity: 22 Dining Chairs with Arms (minimum dimensions: 19.75 inches deep, 22.5 inches wide, and 17.25 inches high)

All furniture must be made from HDPE material and come with a minimum warranty of 15 years against chips, cracks, fading, breaking, and warping. The furniture must be delivered assembled and in good condition.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract term is from August 2025 to December 2025, with an option to extend for additional years as determined by the State.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the MDVA-Montevideo Veterans Home located in Montevideo, Minnesota.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Minnesota's commitment to diversity and inclusion in public procurement processes. Eligible businesses include those owned by minorities, women, veterans, and individuals with substantial physical disabilities. Additionally, contractors must be registered with the Department of Labor and Industry if providing construction services.
