MNIT/MDH Immunization Info Sys (IIS) Modernization

Background
The State of Minnesota, through its Department of Information Technology Services and the Department of Health, is seeking a vendor to develop and implement a new immunization information system (IIS) to replace the existing Minnesota Immunization Information Connection (MIIC) system.

The goal of this contract is to create a custom-built system that the State will fully own, including all intellectual property rights. The system will be hosted internally at the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH). The State may also engage the vendor for additional enhancements and support post-implementation.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
1. Developing a comprehensive immunization information system from the ground up.
2. Ensuring that the system meets all specified requirements outlined in the solicitation documents.
3. Providing ongoing support and maintenance for the IIS after its initial launch, including short-term post go-live support.
4. Implementing new modules or enhancements as requested by the State through contract amendments.
5. Transferring all rights to intellectual property created during the project to the State upon completion.

Period of Performance
The contract's effective date will be determined upon obtaining all required signatures, with an expiration date set for XXXX or until all obligations are fulfilled.

The contract may be extended through duly executed amendments as determined by the State.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at locations designated by the Minnesota Department of Health, with all data storage and processing occurring within the United States.
