MN Veterans Home - Luv Exterior Lighting Upgrade

Background
The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to upgrade the exterior lighting at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Luverne, MN. The goal of this contract is to enhance safety and visibility on the campus by replacing outdated lighting fixtures with modern, efficient alternatives. This project aligns with the agency's mission to provide quality care and services to veterans.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary electrical supplies, materials, and labor to remove existing light fixtures and install new ones. Specific items required include:
- 20 units of RAB A22-4T150 pole lights (or approved equal)
- 6 units of RAB B17DB bollard lights (or approved equal)
- 1 unit of RAB ALED5T26NK (or approved equal)
- 1 unit of WAVE 4690-RB-BK-HH (or approved equal)

All lights must come with a standard manufacturer warranty. Work must be performed by a State of Minnesota licensed electrician.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract term is from May 1, 2025, to June 30, 2025, with an option for extension for up to one additional year as determined by the State.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Minnesota Veterans Home located at 1300 N Kniss Ave, Luverne, MN 56156.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed electricians in the State of Minnesota. The State encourages participation from businesses owned by minorities, women, veterans, and those with disabilities. Additionally, contractors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws including business registration requirements.
