Background
The State of Minnesota, through its Department of Administration, is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to establish a contract for maintenance and repair services for two (2) York Centrifugal Chillers located at the Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center (Anoka MRTC).
The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational efficiency and reliability of the chillers, which are critical to the facility's operations.
Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing maintenance and repair services that include:
- Providing Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) replacement parts for York chillers.
- Responding to emergency repair or service requests within two (2) hours.
- Conducting seasonal startup services each spring for both chillers.
- Performing midseason operating inspections.
- Inspecting and maintaining chillers annually during the off-season.
- Repairing and servicing chillers upon request.
Period of Performance
The anticipated contract term is from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, with an option to extend for up to an additional 48 months in increments determined by the State.
Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center located at 3301 7th Avenue North, Anoka, Minnesota 55303.
Bidder Requirements
Respondents must attend a mandatory pre-proposal meeting on February 9, 2026, at 9:00 AM Central Time at the specified location.
Registration for this meeting must be completed by February 6, 2026. Additionally, responders must comply with Minnesota's commitment to diversity and inclusion in public procurement processes.
