Lake Zumbro Park - Project 1

Background
The Lake Zumbro Park Improvements project is issued by Olmsted County, which aims to enhance the recreational facilities and infrastructure at Lake Zumbro Park.

Work Details
The contract includes various construction tasks such as:
1) Mobilization;
2) Clearing and Grubbing;
3) Removal of Timber Wall;
4) Removal of Septic Tanks;
5) Removal of Curb and Gutter (115 Linear Feet);
6) Removal of Bituminous Pavement (47,615 Square Feet);
7) Removal of Concrete Pavement (5,460 Square Feet);
8) Common Excavation;
9) Installation of Geotextile Fabric Type 4 (110 Square Yards);
10) Composite Liner (375 Square Yards);
11) Parking Surface Aggregate (15" thick, 45 Cubic Yards);
12) Installation of Bituminous Parking with Base (4,000 Square Yards);
13) Construction of Retaining Wall Special (500 Square Feet);
14) Installation of RC Pipe Apron with Trash Guard (5 units);
and various other drainage, erosion control, and landscaping tasks including silt fences, sediment control logs, seeding, and pavement marking.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence following the award date and must be completed within a specified timeframe as outlined in the technical specifications.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Lake Zumbro Park located at 4 Fisherman Dr NW, Oronoco, MN 55960.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must acknowledge compliance with the Responsible Contractor Act.
They are required to submit a bid bond and provide verification that they are not debarred by the State of Minnesota.
Additionally, bidders must include sales tax in their bids for construction materials and acknowledge that prevailing wages apply.
